Writer's block

I really want to provide high quality content, but I also feel that the post I wish to write has already been written much better than I can ever do, by someone else.

If you’re a regular reader, you might know that I promised to post every week. But for the last couple of weeks there have been a couple of holes in this plan.

While I’ve been really motivated towards blogging, everytime I start on a post I feel someone else has done it better than I ever could and get discouraged.

So I’m currently having a bit of a writer’s block.

How do you find inspiration for blog post subjects? I’d love to get your input.

What I’m currently up to

So I think this post would be a good idea to tell you about my current projects.

SAP Project Training – I’m almost ready to launch a coaching program for SAP project managers. It’s really awesom and I’ve gotten a SAP project manager with more than 13 years of experience from huge enterprise projects do all the content. We’re currently planning the launch. If you know anyone in the SAP business please help spread the word :)

Save Thousands On ??? Ebook – I’m almost done with an ebook that tells you how to save thousands of $$ on a particular type of product. Currently the ebook is in the Danish and for this market only, but if it proves a succes, I might consider translating it and start an English site. The site is done, and the ebook is 80% complete!

4-Hour Workweek Workshop – I love doing courses and workshops. I got a full day (8+ hours) workshop planned on the 27. of August. It is the same workshop that I also held last year and I’m really looking forward to this (and hopefully inspiring a few people to taking action and change their life!)

Free webinar on Passive Income (in Danish) – A few months back I did this free webinar on passive income. Unfortunately it is in Danish. Let me know if you think it is something I should do in English as well :)

Besides this I’m of course still running Get A Shop (makers of Magento e-commerce sites for the Danish market) and Backlinks.nu (professional linkbuilding on subscription also for the Danish market).

I’ve also spent some time coaching (informally) small business owners or people who want to start getting a passive income online.

    It’s all about the motivation!

have you tried thinking on how you can get it to fulfilling to write or videoblog once a day?

      Hi Michall

      Thanks for your input…
I’ve done a bit of video blogging. If I should blog daily it would be shorter posts (like 200-400 words) but since I really want to provide some value that people can use, I would prefer blog posts on 1500+ words, and these kind of posts just take time to research and write.

But I am definitely considering some more video (I just need to smile a bit more :)).

I’m a consistent reader of your blog and would definitely be interested in your passive income podcast in English. Even if it cost a few dollars if you needed to cover production costs, I’d love to hear it.

      Hi Mathew,

Thank you so much for your support. I’ll certainly consider doing the webinar in English.

By the way, just visited your site. I really love how often you are able to blog. Perhaps I’m focusing too much with “how to’s” and “top 10″ lists. Maybe I could do more (and shorter) posts about why I’ve chosen to do certain things in my life.

Hey Peter, thanks for your support. Well I’m gonna write something, I just want to make sure that it provides real value to my readers.

Not just fluff that you can get anywhere else :).

To write blog you need inspiration or be high motivated. You can simply promise someone to describe the way of solving problem in your blog. Also, you can put here some tutorials or good case study and use these material in your lectures.
